Your Mortgage Shop is a Nottingham-based mortgage advisory service with offices in Mapperley and Arnold which offers advice on mortgages and personal insurance products to the whole of the Nottingham and wider East Midlands area.
We offer you choice
We have access to the whole of the mortgage market letting us search for the best deals. There are dozens of websites and price comparison sites which claim to offer you a full choice, but remember that not all the lenders advertise on these sites. Our team will scour the mortgage market to find the best deal for you from every lender, not just a small panel.
We are independent
Your Mortgage Shop isn’t tied to any bank or building society and as independent advisors, we are impartial and can search for the mortgage that suits your circumstances rather than the lender’s.
We offer professional advice
Our experienced advisors have an extensive knowledge of the products available on the mortgage market. We aim to treat our customers fairly ensuring you are fully aware of all the options available to you.
We offer fee-free advice
With our fee-free advice service, our team will manage the process on your behalf right through to the point of mortgage offer. Unlike most mortgage brokers who charge significant up-front costs, we are paid a small commission by the lender when your mortgage begins, which they absorb into their cost of lending, so this charge is not passed on to you!

Jonathan Raybould BA (Hons)
Director/Senior Mortgage Advisor
Jonathan joined Your Mortgage Shop in 2003 working out of our Mapperley office. He previously worked as a financial advisor for a reputable Nottingham-based law firm. Jonathan’s experience of the industry coupled with his detailed understanding of a client’s needs ensures he receives a high level of customer recommendations as well as repeat custom.

Daniel Elliott
Mortgage Advisor
Daniel offers mortgage advice from our Arnold site. His previous experience in the industry was with both a building society and national estate agency however the attraction of working for an independent mortgage broker with access to the entire mortgage market was too much to resist.
